Get Lit: Share the good news everywhere!

In this message, Pastor Seth brings us back to our calling to spread the Gospel. Drawing from Romans 10:14-21, we're reminded that we can't claim ignorance of God's message. As believers, we're all commissioned to share the Good News, like line cooks preparing ingredients (scripture, prayer, testimony) for the Master Chef (God). The core lesson is that true Christianity isn't a spectator sport; we're called to be 'light bearers,' carrying God's fire into dark places.

Daily Devotions

Day 1: Embracing the Call

Scripture: Romans 10:14-15 (AMP)

"But how will people call on him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher or messenger? And how will they preach unless they are commissioned and sent for that purpose? Just as it is written and forever remains written, how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things."

Reflection: Today, reflect on the foundational importance of sharing the Gospel. The questions posed by Paul encourage us to recognize the need for messengers. You are commissioned by God to share His good news.

Questions:

  1. Have you accepted the call to share the Gospel in your daily life?
  2. What holds you back from speaking about your faith?
  3. How can you prepare yourself to be a more effective messenger for Christ?

Additional Scripture:

Prayer: Ask God to give you a clear vision of your role in His mission. Pray for the boldness and wisdom to carry out this call.
